This is your call to something amazing: the media incubators Vor Ort NRW and Media Lab Bayern invite you to pitch your media startup to a global audience: apply now to join our community of media innovators at the Global Media Forum on June 13th 2018!

Global Media Forum Pitch

Global Media Forum is put on by Deutsche Welle and its partners. The conference offers the unique opportunity to connect and strengthen relations with over 2,000 inspiring representatives from the fields of journalism, digital media, politics, culture, business, development, academia and civil society.

Rocking Journalism: Startups and Talents in Media Innovation

Vor Ort NRW and Media Lab Bayern help promising entrepreneurs developing new tools and business models in their media incubator programs. At the Global Media Forum 2018, we invite startups from any country to take the chance and enter our stage at Rocking Journalism: Startups and Talents in Media Innovation.

In this session at the Media Innovation Lab Day, digital startups showcase their talent and technology in media and journalism. Startups pitch their project, the audience votes the most exciting startups who are to win 500 Euro.

How to join the pitch on June 13th

Our jury will review and invite the most promising ones to join the public pitch at the Global Media Forum 2018 in Bonn. Those who are invited will receive a full conference ticket (worth 299 Euro) and we may refund some travel expenses.

All you need to do is e-mail your pitch deck as pdf to info@vor-ort.nrw before May 21st 2018. We expect no more than 5-10 slides that may include:
